Methodology and Management

I have worked on and been responsible for many different types of project over the years. Some were classic deathmarch projects: a team working twenty-one unbroken fifteen-hour days without a weekend. Others were well-managed incremental / evolutionary development projects that met their timelines on a normal schedule. A few were exploratory, some were for in-house clients, and some were to create or enhance products.

In the last twenty years, I have been offered a variety of "silver bullets", but none competes with a good methodology, a deep understanding of business and technology interaction, and inspring management. This section of The Temporal Doorway is designed provide insight into what works, what doesn't and why.
