Though not drawn from any specific scene in my novel Source, this image of the two protagonists is a "cover" illustration, one of several illustrations created for the novel (including Escape of the Zadar). For details on the figures, see Clu and Lan In Love.

Minor post processing in Corel PhotoPaint 9 was used to clean up some shadows and correct some hair boundaries.
